Folio, measuring 458 x 348 mm, bound in original green cloth (rebacked), with title 'North American scenery' stamped in gilt on upper board. The volumes comprises titlepage and contents page, followed by 12 albumen prints, mounted one to a page (recto only) within a tinted border, with lithographed title beneath each image. The photographs are all copies of landscape paintings by C. J. Way, predominantly of scenery on the River Saguenay in Quebec.
