A copy of a Korean reading book written by the Japanese scholar and bureaucrat Arai Hakuseki 新井白石 (1657-1725). The Korean rendering of the title is 'Chosŏn kukcha tok'. The text is in Korean Hangŭl script with a Japanese interlinear translation in katakana/kanji script. The colophon is dated 1720 but this is a later, probably 19th century, copy.
Colophon reads: Kyōhō 5 kōshi shōgatsu Arai Chikugo no Kami Minamoto Kimiyoshi cho 享保五庚子正月 荒井筑後守源君美著.
