The manuscript was given to the shrine of Apa Aaron in Hagr Edfu, between 982 and 992 AD; f. 21 purchased on 12th November from Robert de Rustafjaell;
all except f. 21 acquired by the British Museum on June 12th, 1909 from Abd en-Nur Gubrial & Maurice Nahman.
