Inscribed: ‘71.’ ‘A Bishnnuote procession;’ engraved in Bengali characters: ‘sri advaita prabhu. sri nityananda prabhu. sri maha prabhu. sri kesab bharati’ (names of four major Vaisnavas). ‘mon: sobhabajare curamani datter paray 27 no batite o battalar dakshin raojir dokane mon kalikatar o sri rampurer harek rakam chabi paibe. sri krisna candrer krita’ (In the locality of Curamani Datta of Sobhabazar at house no.27 and also at the shop of Raoji in the southern part of Bottala you will get various types of pictures of Calcutta and Serampore. Done by Krishna Candra).

Deposited c.1871 together with Add.Or.891-911, and 913-19.
Note: Sobhabazar is in the centre of north Calcutta and stretches up the river Hooghly on the west. It lies south of Bottala, west of Circular Road with Chitaranjan Avenue bifurcating it in the middle. Much of this area was obtained by Maharaja Naba Krishna in exchange for lands which fell within the ‘English Town’. The family house is still known as Sobhabazar Rajbari.
