Inscribed on reverse in Persian:’ Bhim Singh Jodhpuri.’

217 by 146 mm.
The nobleman, perhaps Maharaja Abhi Singh of Jodhpur (1725-50), stands facing left holding a sword, wearing an ankle-length jama and typical Jodhpur-style turban.
Note: The drawing was formerly in the collection of P.C. Manuk and Miss G.M. Coles of Patna, Bihar, contained in the residuary collection sold April 1949.
