Inscribed on reverse:’ Faridansaheb Deputy Kamishoner of Delhi’ and in Urdu’: Shamsheri Khan ne marvaya - aur unko badle men phansi di ga’i’ (‘he was killed on the instance of Shamsher Khan and he was hanged for this’).

Note: Fraser was murdered by Karim Khan at the instigation of Nawab Shams al-Din Khan of Firozpur on 22nd March 1835. Both men were hanged on 3rd October 1835.
