Sketchbook (ff.1-31), stamped monogram ‘PFD’, containing water-colours, pen and ink drawings and caricatures dating from 1877-84, including views, military subjects, shikar and camp studies, mostly made on a march following the route from Fort William to Rawalpindi along the Grand Trunk Road, and during the Afghan War of 1879-80.
Drawings various sizes, laid down with inscriptions below on album pages; album 25.5 by 34 cm.
