48 aquatints in sepia with etching and soft-ground etching by and after William Hodges; page size: 483 by 644 mm; plate size: 325 by 482 mm.
Probably published initially by William Hodges (plates 1-4), then by John Wells, 22 Charing Cross (plates 5-28), and lastly by J. Grives, 103 Strand, London (29-48), 1785-88 (issued in 12 equal parts).
Each plate lettered ‘Drawn on the Spot & engraved by W. Hodges’, and as below, with imprint details.
Published finally in two volumes of 24 plates each, with lists of the plates in each part numbered 1-24, as below:
