By a Trichinopoly artist, c.1890.
Originally mounted on paper with inscriptions in English and Tamil. Some of the paintings had become separated from their inscriptions.
Gouache on mica; 6 by 4 ins.
Presented by the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in Foreign Parts, London, 7th July 1932
Note: The Society believes that these paintings were collected by the Rev. Arthur Westcott, Principal of the S.P.G. College, Madras, 1887 to 1901.
