By the Calcutta artist, Shaikh Muhammad Amir of Karraya, c.1845.
Purchased 14 January 1957.
Note: These pictures are from a set similar to Add.Or.2553, executed by the same artist for another Calcutta resident. In the present drawings the figures are shown against a blue sky with a simple landscape background.
