Purchased 20 April 1970.
Note: These paintings were part of a larger set which included a drawing of an English woman being carried in a tonjon, and dressed in the fashion of c.1840. It also included portraits of servants and pet dogs. All were inscribed with notes clearly intended for a relative in England, and several inscriptions referred to Cuttack.
