Presented by Brigadier G.P. Oldfield and Miss Margaret Oldfield, grandson and grand-daughter of Dr H.A. Oldfield, 27 April 1966, together with WD2778-2871, Mss Eur C193, and Add.Or.2615.
Note: Dr H.A. Oldfield (see Add.Or.2615) married Margaret Alicia Prescot during his leave in 1856. She returned to Nepal with him soon after. About 1861 Dr Oldfield’s eyesight deteriorated and he trained a local artist to copy his sketches and work for him.
