Gouache with gold; a yellow panel above each picture inscribed with descriptive Hindi verse, with identification and number; borders of green and orange-red.
180 by 115 mm; with border 295 by 210 mm.
Note: In spite of the absence of twelve pictures it is clear that the iconography and arrangement comply with the normal Jaipur tradition (described by Ebeling ((1973), 108), as the ‘Core Ragamalas of Jaipur’). There are minor differences in the naming of subjects and their order, but the only real exception is ‘Bangali Ragini’ which is placed within ‘Megha Malar Raga’ instead of ‘Sri Raga.’
