Water-colour and body-colour; 215 by 268 mm.
Provenance: Thomas Holroyd; Oriental Club, London; collection of Mildred and W.G. Archer. Purchased 1978.
Add.Or.3952-3955 and 3958 were exhibited at the Arts Council, London 1970-72, see Archer 1970 nos.33-37.
Note: All the drawings came from an album made for Thomas Holroyd, a Calcutta business man, and presented by him to the Oriental Club, London, by whom it was sold in 1969. For further notes and another painting from the same set, see Add.Or.2553.
