Inscribed with titles and notes on the page opposite to each drawing, as listed. On inside back cover: ‘Mr. Orme 23 Hollis St’, and ‘Orme’ appears again by the numbers ‘199’ and ‘343’ on the inside front cover.

Note: The album was formerly part of the collection of Sir Thomas Phillipps (MS 10359), who acquired it from the sale of the library of J.B.B. Clarke on 20th June 1836; Clarke had presumably inherited it from the library of his father Adam Clarke, LL.D. (?1762-1832), the well-known bibliographer, Wesleyan minister and orientalist (DNB IV, pp.413-4).
