From the Lind Album (P2984), a collection of lithographs dated 1824-25.
Provenance: Lind family, to a descendant in New Zealand; purchased May 1990.
Note: The Lind Album consists of a collection of lithographs by Alexander Francis Lind, Bengal Civil Service, and his wife Anna and sister-in-law Catherine Macan, assembled at Gaya 1824-25 and given on 10th May 1825 to his elder daughters Margaretta Lucy (baptised January 1819) and Elizabeth Charlotte Fullarton (born 10th May 1820), on the latter’s fifth birthday. Lind (1797-1832) was Deputy Collector of Behar based at Gaya from 1824-6, when he moved to Fatehpur.
