Album of 15 drawings of views in Central India and Rajasthan, connected with Lord Hastings’ campaigns of 1817-18 (the Pindari campaign and the Third Maratha War). The final drawing is associated with the Nepal war of 1814-15.
15 water-colour views laid down on paper water-marked Dickinson & Co. 1810, by Indian and British artists, one signed by P.Y. Waugh, i.e. Lieut. Patrick Young Waugh (1788-1829), 1st Native Cavalry; sizes as noted, all inscribed on mounts.
Album with contemporary covers of marbled paper and half calf, 48 by 67 cms, with title insert lettered ‘Views connected with the Positions of the Army 1817 1818.’
