3 sheets of drawings of Nepalese caityas and mandalas, parts of larger sets. The inscriptions suggest that they belonged originally to the collections formed 1820-44 by Brian Houghton Hodgson (see Add.Or.5338, and NHD62).
Ink (and pencil) on Nepalese country paper; 44 by 34 cm.
Found in the department. Apparently once in the collection of the Institut Impérial de France, Academie des Inscriptions et Belles Lettres. The drawings were once part of IO San 3976f, see J.P.
