Eight drawings for teaching the Bengali alphabet to children.

By Kushal Chandra Manjhi, a Santal school-master in a lower primary school, village Deoli, P.S. Gobindpur, District Manbhum, Bihar, who made them for his class in 1937. Inscribed with name of school-master in English and Bengali and in each case with a Bengali word and its initial letter.

Ink and water-colour; 280 by 228 mm.

Collected by W.G. Archer, 1945. Presented 1962.
