BLYTH, MARY POPHAM ( 1866-1868)
Mary Blyth accompanied her younger brother, the Rev. G F. Popham Blyth, to India in 1866. He remained in India until 1879, being posted as Chaplain to Allahabad 1866; Calcutta 1867; Barrackpore 1868-74; Naini Tal 1874-77; Fort William 1877-78. From 1879 to 1886 he was Archdeacon in Rangoon and from 1887 to 1912 Bishop of Jerusalem. He married Mary Anne Crommelin, eldest daughter of James Crommelin (q.v.).
