HOARE, CAROLINE CHARLOTTE (c.1845-1929)
Daughter of Henry and Lady Mary Hoare, sister of Angelina Hoare (1843-1892) SPG missionary in Bengal from 1876 until her death. Angelina was visited in India by several members of her family and according to the donor the present drawings were made by Caroline during a visit in 1887. See ‘Life of Angelina Margaret Hoare’ by her sisters and Mrs. Walter M. Hoare, London, 1895.
