Pen-and-ink, grey wash, pencil and water-colour; size of volume 211 x 158mm.
1. ‘From Mr. Gregory’ House at Lucknow looking across the Goomty. May 2nd 1786. From Mr. Gregory’s Garden House [?]. May 2nd 1786.’
2. ‘From Col. Martin’s great room. June 16 1786. Lucknow.’Verso: ‘Goomti River’
3. ‘Mr. Wombwell’s Bungaloe in Lucknow. Mr. Robinson lived at Lucknow’
4. ‘Upon the Ganges near Allahabad’
5. ‘Mirzapaur. Upon the Ganges near Mirzapaur. Aug. 13th 1786. The Hindu alter in the water placed there to commemorate the act of a woman voluntarily burning herself on the death of her husband.’
