Octavo, measuring 225 x 150 mm, modern (2000) maroon buckram binding, containing 50 albumen print stereographic doubles, mounted on light card, with letterpress descriptive text on facing pages; with original yellow part wrappers bound in. Volume 2 comprises parts 17-32, published monthly between November 1859 and February 1861, each issue containing 3 prints and priced at 2s. 6d. The complete series runs to 5 volumes, ending in February 1865.
