S.’, measuring 337 x 265 mm; edges gilt with pink watered silk endpapers; [2], xii, [2], 225, [1]p., frontispiece, [12] leaves of plates: ill.Numerous engraved and lithographic illustrations throughout and 12 albumen prints, laid down on buff card, with list of captions at front of volume.
