Quarto, blue cloth binding (modern), measuring 242 x 160 mm; pp. xix, [5], 861. This work first appeared as a 'Report on the medical jurisprudence in the Bengal Presidency' in the 'Indian Annals of Medical Science,' October 1854 and a second edition was published in 1856. These earlier editions do not contain the single albumen print that is pasted in facing p. 74 of the third edition.
