Title on title slip on front cover: Kamioki ika no iwai no hōshiki 髪置以下之祝之方式.
An illustrated work by Ise Sadatake 伊勢貞丈 (1718-1784) detailing the ceremony of 'kamioki' , a ceremony where the child's hair is first allowed to grow, and other rites of passage for girls and boys.
The work was originally written in 1764 but this is a late 18th or early 19th century copy.
