Judges, Kings, Isaiah and Joel commence a new column; Jeremiah, Ezekiel and Psalms open a new leaf.
The first word of each book is written in large characters.
Masorah magna occupies two lines in the upper and three lines in the lower margin.
Pricking and ruling (with hard-point on the hair side of the folio) are visible.
The chapters and verses are numbered in Roman and Arabic ciphers, but not throughout the whole manuscript.

Abraham ben Judah ha-Kohen; his inscription, partially illegible, f. 113v, with a date of 2 Sivan 196 (1436).
Latin inscription on a paper flyleaf at the beginning of the manuscript (f. 2r).
Dated inscription, 1v: Memoranda relative to the ten Hebrew manuscripts, late the property of the Reverend John van der Hagen', of which the present manuscript is the first; 16 April 1832, Haydon Hall, Pinner, Middlesex.
Issakhar bar Eliezer; his inscription, partially illegible, f. 316v.

Adam Clarke (b. 1762, d. 1832), Wesleyan Methodist minister and scholar: his bookplate with Greek inscription: ‘ho theos agape estin’(inner upper cover); purchased for his library in 1823 in Utrecht. This codex, together with nine other manuscripts (Additional 9398-9407, see George Margoliouth, Catalogue of the Hebrew and Samaritan Manuscripts in the British Museum, 4 vols (London: British Museum, 1899-1935; vols I-III repr. 1965); IV, Introduction, Indexes, ed. by Jacob Leveen (London: British Museum, 1977), no. 119, 120, 70, 71, 73, 81, 143, 172.), was acquired by the British Museum in 1834, once the property of the Hagen family and then of Adam Clarke.
