The treatise begins with the poem, after which follows the colophon. Folio 169v was left blank by the original scribe, and folio 170r begins with rhymed verses. Folio 169v contains currently some medical prescriptions (in semi-cursive script later than the bulk of the manuscript).

Purchased by the British Museum from the Royal Society together with 549 other Arundel manuscripts in 1831.
