ff. 1r-159rTitle: Ya᾿ir nativTitle: יאיר נתיבAn anonymous Hebrew translation of the 'Viaticum' of Constantinus Africanus, itself a free rendering, in a shortened form, of Ibn Gazzar's 'Zād al-musāfir wa-qūt al-ḥāḍir'. The title 'Ya᾿ir nativ' is written on the top of the first page, but the missing first leaf of the first quire perhaps contained a fuller title.
The second section begins on folio 22r, the third on folio 37v, the fourth on folio 59r, the fifth on folio 84r, the sixth on folio 114v, and the seventh on folio 130r.
ff. 159v-171vTitle: Sefer ha-ma῾alotTitle: ספר המעלותAn anonymous Hebrew translation, based on Latin version, of Ibn Gazzar's work, preceded by a short introduction and enumeration of chapters.

Quires of mostly 8 leaves each, marked by catchwords at the end.
Condition
Inclomplete at the beginning. Lacuna after folio 167.
Slight worming.
Slight tidemarks in part.
Fading ink.

Hair side and flesh side of folios hardly distinguishable.
