Catchwords at the end of each quire, some of them are decorated.
Condition
Damp entry at edges and ends, tidemarks and mould darkening.
Losses at ends have been infilled.

Teḳufot (equinoxes and solstices) in the calendar for the period 1308-1335 (folios 182v-183r).
A later addition to the calendar for the period 1352-1370 (folio 178v).
Illegible Hebrew inscriptions (folio 197v).

Origin: 1308-1314 ; GermanyProvenance and Acquisition
Moses ha-Levi: mentioned in an otherwise blurred inscription, 14th or 15th century (folio 178v).
Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript: inscribed (f. [198v]); his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co. (b. 1800, d. 1853), Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum.
