Quires of 8 leaves each.
Condition
First 10 folios damaged, with loss of text.
Leaves missing after folio 8, 10, 64. Defective at the end.
Damp entry at edges, repaired/infilled before rebinding.
Usage stains and mould-spotting.

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript no. 219: his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v.
