Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), Italian bibliophile: his manuscript no. 229; 322 Hebrew manuscripts were acquired from his library through Asher and Co. by the British Museum in 1865: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v.
