ff. 1r-107vTitle: Ziḳne YehudahTitle: זקני יהודה131 responses. Folios 76r-84v contain diplomas granted by the author to a considerable number of younger contemporaries. Folio 86r cintains a similar document signed Menahem Azariah (of Fano) and endorsed by Yehudah Aryeh in 1606. Folios 86v and 87r contain two letters.
Folios 103v-105r contain an index (incomplete) to the responses in the volume, and folios 106r-108r described the contents of two other volumes of responses in possession of the author (32 and 20 entries respectively).

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript no. 256; his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v.
