Contains also the prayer Elef alafin (folios 1r-2v) and Baḳashat ha-lamdin (folios 5r-7r) by the author, and Baḳashat ha-mamin (folios 3r-5r) by his son, Yedayah Bedersi.

Folios 104r-119v contain a series of letters, mostly in rhymed prose, some of which bear the signature of Solomon ben Labi (see e.g. folios 105v, 106r).

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript no. 278; his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin bookseller and dealer to the British Museum: inscribed, back flyleaf (ii)v.
