Date of the finishing of the work, [5]386, that is, 1626, is given at the end of the introduction on folio 20v.
Numerous marginal notes, corrections, additions by the scribe.

Giuseppe Almanzi (b. 1801, d. 1860), bibliophile; his manuscript no. 312; his library including 322 medieval Hebrew manuscripts were purchased en bloc by the British Museum in October 1865 for £1,000 through Asher & Co., Berlin dealer to the British Museum (see [Paisey_1997] 131-153): inscribed (back lfyleaf [iii]v).
