Moses Wilhelm Shapira (b. 1830, d. 1884), a antiquities dealer of Jerusalem: purchased by the British Library from him on 24 November 1877; inscribed back flyleaf (i)v; numbering 'No 12' (corrected to 11) probably by him on folio 1r.
