A glossary of the difficult words of the Bible, explained in Persian.

ff. 1r-54vTitle: Milon ῾ivri-farsi le-Tana"khTitle: מלון עברי-פרסי לתנ"ךThe glossary is arranged according to the order of the biblical books. The Five Scrolls are placed after the Pentateuch; the Hagiographa begin with the Proverbs; the Psalms are wanting. The manuscript concludes with Ezra-Nehemiah; Chronicles are missing entirely.
Folios 49-54 contain a calendar beginning with5564 (1804-1805), which is apparently the year when the manuscript was written, and ending with5583 (1823). The calendar is entirely in Hebrew.

Adolf Neubauer (b. 1831, d. 1907), a librarian at the Bodleian Library and a reader in rabbinic Hebrew at Oxford University: purchased from him on 24 June 1882: inscribed, back flyleaf (i)v.
