A glossary of the difficult words of the Bible, explained in Persian.

The glossary is arranged according to the order of the biblical books. The Five Scrolls are placed after the Pentateuch; the Hagiographa begin with the Proverbs; the Psalms are wanting. The manuscript concludes with Ezra-Nehemiah; Chronicles are missing entirely.

Folios 49-54 contain a calendar beginning with5564 (1804-1805), which is apparently the year when the manuscript was written, and ending with5583 (1823). The calendar is entirely in Hebrew.

Adolf Neubauer (b. 1831, d. 1907), a librarian at the Bodleian Library and a reader in rabbinic Hebrew at Oxford University: purchased from him on 24 June 1882: inscribed, back flyleaf (i)v.
