Volume 1 (Or 9885) contains Genesis (ff. 1v-72v), Exodus (ff. 72v-132v), and Leviticus 1:5 (ff. 132v). Volume 2 (Or 9886) containing Leviticus 4:12 (ff. 1r-44r), Numbers (ff. 44r-101v), and Deuteronomy (ff. 102r-132v).

Hand(s)
Yemenite square script of the 15th century, punctuated. Probably written by the same scribe as Oxford, Bodleian, MS. Oppenheim Add. 4° 97a (http://digital.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/inquire/p/5a8ef1e0-ed08-4bbf-a4d1-1f1de5fa2f8c). The latter was written byYosef ben Benayahin 1478 (colophon on f. 315v).

Masorah in a micrographical form.
Additions:Missing, damaged parts are supplied by a later hand. His colophon is in volume 2, f. 151v.
Binding
Leather binding, blind-tooled, remains of leather straps, spine is later, added in-house.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 324: inscribed with his name (ff. 1r, 132v); purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v.
