The work is preceded by a table of contents and six rhymed lines, each consisting of two hemistichs.
Numerous initial-word panels with pen-flourishing, in red and mauve.
Partial foliate borders, in red, green and mauve. f. 2r, 2v, 3r, 3v, 4r, 4v, 5r, 5v, 6r, 6v, 8r, 8v
f. 40v a decorated catchword, in red.

Collation
Quires of mostly 8 leaves each, originally marked by catchwords at the end (cut away in binding).
Condition
Dirt entry at head.
Various usage stains, including liquid spills.
Old losses infilled before rebinding.

A number of pages are palimpsest, the underlying text being Latin, e.g. folio 24, 71, 73, 125, 148.
Folio to folio catchwords cut away in binding.

Italian semi-cursive script of the 14th century. Barukh: his name marked off in red ink on folio 43v.
Additions:Folio 1r: several notes and scribblings, partly illegible.
Folio 1v: a table of content of the 22 chapters and sections of the book, in an Oriental cursive script of probably the 17th century.
