Scope & Content:

A very large collection of Dhāraṇīs. Transcribed in Manchu, Chinese, Mongolian, and Tibetan.

There is an Imperial Preface, dated Qianlong 23 (1758); a poem by Qianlong (dated 1759) which is repeated at the beginning of each tao; and a final preface and Distribution Order, dated Qianlong 38 (1773).

This copy lacks the second tao (套) of the first part, corresponding to fasciculi 5 to 10.
