Some of the maps have later annotations: the map of Kangwŏn-do has 2 added islands marked as Tokto [Dokdo] and Ŭisŏk 義石. The map of Japan and Ryukyu is annotated with the names Kimch’idae 金治大 and Ch’ŏngsuhae 清水海 written along the Chinese coast.

Format: 2 single-page and 11 double-page hand-coloured maps. Black ink border around edges of maps. Bound in traditional 'accordeon' style with thick brown paper covers.
