An incomplete copy, in Manchu, of the 'Handbook for the Administration of the Army'. Apparently from Jiaqing 25 (1820) - publication decree 1815.
A complete copy of the 'Handbook for the Administration of the Army' would contain 144 juan as two sets of 72 juan in both Manchu and Chinese: a 'Banner Section' of 32 juan and a 'Chinese Army Section' of 40 juan.
This Manchu-only copy contains: 'Banner Section' juan 1 [without the decrees], 3, 5-8, 11, 14, 16, 21-22, 25, 27, 30-32; 'Chinese Army Section' juan 7-8, 11, 13, 21-30, 33, 35, 38-40.
Copies of various editions of the Chinese text are found at 15237.e.2, 15237.e.3, 15237.e.4, 15237.e.5, 15237.e.6 and 15237.e.7; at 15237.d.9 and 15237.d.10; and at 15400.c.1-15400.d.6 (British Library).
