Originally 88 folios, then at refoliation the blank leaves were left out (between fols. 50-51, 54-55, 63-64, 72-73, 74-75).

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 772: inscribed with his name (folios 1r, 76v); purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924: inscribed (back flyleaf verso).
