Some of the first folios are numbered in Arabic.
Collation
10 Quires of 10 leaves. First quire includes the front pastedown and the front flyleaf. Last quire (fols. 89-39 + back flyleaves (i)-(v)).
Catchword in each verso set diagonally.
Condition
Smudged ink, fingerprints, stains, small tear on front flyleaf.
Bookplate on back pastedown is partially removed.

Ruling was done with an 18-line mastara.
Justification is partial and where it exists includes elongation of letters.
Fols. 1-39: certain words are in red ink.
Hand(s)
Nashki and cursive Arabic script and Samaritan script.
The scribe was Yusuf ibn Israel ibn Ishmael ibn Ibrahim with the help of the High Priest Yaqub ibn Harun, the Levite.
Decoration
Additions:Binding
The original binding has been reworked by a western binder who retained the original case and added a number of folios. The original boards are cockled, indicating that it was made from reused manuscript leaves. The rebinding left the case quarter-bound, with red leather hinger and spine, with side panels of black paper.
