A single sheet of parchment.Form: codexMaterial: parchmentSupport:Extent: A single sheet of parchment.Dimensions (leaf): 490 × 165 mm.Foliation:Collation
Condition
Fragmentary.
Glued onto a paper sheet.
Folding lines, stains, water damage.
Layout
Columns:2
Written lines: 35
No dots are used to divide the words, misleading Gaster as to its age.
Still traces of pricking for the ruling.
The horizontal lines are 4mm apart.
Writing on the flesh side of the parchment in a fine black ink.
Justification is by the final separation of single letters.
Gaster appears to have ignored the ruling of the second column which allows the word קדש to be repeated as a form of tashqil, down the sheet.
Two columns remaining of an original five through seven (Gaster says four) columns with 35 lines per column.
Hand(s)
A cursive hand of the 14th century, apparently that of the High Priest.
Scribe was almost certainly Abisha ben Pinhas ben Joseph ben Ozzi ca. 1340-1364. His han is clearly identifiable.
Decoration
Additions:Binding
Housed in a folder with 9 other sheets.
