- This collection contains 1 copper plate and 58 palm leaf bundles. The issues addressed are security rights (kaval), land matters, judicial matters, agreements, accounts, records, poem and astrology. The land documents contain land leases, land settlements, land loans and land details. Judicial documents contain petitions, judgement given at court and petititon at village ur panchayat. Some documents contain poems, astrology, temple records and agreement for temple festival etc. Some documents are dated from 1805 to 1907, some are undated and some are dated in the Tamil lunar calendar. This collection comprises 9 series : (1) Accounts & loan PL, (2) Hereditary rights to land PL , (3) Horoscope PL, (4) Legal PL, (5) Land PL, (6) Panchayat PL, (7) Panegyric & Poetry PL, (7) Security rights (kaval) CP, (8) Temple PL, (9) Temple records PL. Dates of original material: 1805 to 1907, few tamil dates and undated documents. Extent and format of original material: The collection consists of 1 copper plate and 58 palm leaf bundles.
