Catchword on every verso; signatures in Samaritan characters at the beginning of the quires. Quires xiv-xvi have double signatures: in Samaritan characters as well as in East Arabic numerals.

16 quires: i-x10, xi12, xii-xv10, xvi8. Last quire includes four unfoliated blank leaves at the end.

James Finn (1806–1872), an Arabic and Hebrew scholar, consul at Jerusalem: inscribed on back flyleaf (iii)v: 'Purchased of John (sic!) Finn Esq. Consul at Jerusalem (March 1852)'.
