Fol. 1v begins the hymns for the First Sabbath after Passover; fol. 18v: prayers for the afternoon of the same Sabbath; fol. 24v: prayers for the Second Sabbath; fol. 32v: prayers for the Third Sabbath; fol. 36r: prayers for the Fourth Sabbath; fol. 51r: prayers for the Fifth Sabbath; fol. 57v: prayers for the Sixth Sabbath; fol. 70v: noon prayers for the Sixth Sabbath; fol. 73v: prayers for the conclusion of the Sixth Sabbath; fol. 77v: prayers for the Third Amalek, the Seventh Sabbath.

Hand(s)

Samaritan minuscule script and Arabic script of the 19th century. The scribe presents his full name as Abdallah ibn Abd Salama ibn Ghazal ibn Ishaq ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq ibn Sadaqa ibn Yusuf ibn Ghazal ibn Yusuf ibn Abd Allah ibn Baba ibn Ishaq. It is normally given as Salama ibn Ghazal.

Decoration

Simple geometrical panels at the end of sections (e.g. ff. 18r, 29v, 32v, 50v, 68r), in black and red ink.

Samaritan Islamic flap case, half bound in yellow leather, with yellow cloth side panels.

Spine: 'Ordo Precum Novi Anni. Samarit. Mus. Brit. Jure Empt. 19,655.'
