The author revised the commentary on Genesis by Muslim ibn Murjan (see London, BL Or 7925) and also wrote the commentary on Exodus in this MS.
Ghazal's commentary on Leviticus and Numbers is recognised in standard works on the subject, whereas this MS is sometimes overlooked (see the article 'Commentaries' in Crown, Pummer, Tal, Companion. I. R. M. Bóid, Principles of Samaritan Halakhah gives a fair introduction to this work in his introduction, p. 23.)

A reader's mark of Isaac b. Salama b. Tabya, the Levitical priest, who was asked, apparently, to testify to the validity and quality of the commentary and MS, for a purchaser, in 1834.
