Among others it includes: a teḥinah which is customarily recited in the land of Israel (f. 2v), "prayer of ha-baḥurim" (f. 12r), a lamentation which begins with: אשא בכי ונהי ויללה (f. 13r) and the piyut אל מסתתר בשפריר חביון by Avraham Maimon.

Moses Gaster (b. 1856, d. 1939), scholar and rabbi: his manuscript, Cod. G. 349: inscribed with his name on fols. 1r, 16v; purchased by the British Museum from him on 12 April, 1924; date of accession: 14 March 128: inscribed on back flyleaf (i)v.
